Lincoln Community,
Another month of school has passed by and we are officially halfway through November. While October brought challenging moments to our broader community, I am also recognizing that this community is stronger than it's been. We continue to come together during difficult moments and the words "Belong. Become. Be Proud" feel even more palpable.
We officially completed our Fall Conferences this past week and saw so many wonderful faces! Thank you for stopping by to discuss your child's progress thus far. I hope that these meetings were insightful and provided useful feedback for everyone involved. If you have any feedback for us, please feel free to reach out and we will get back to you.
In the coming weeks, we will be reviewing our school wide expectations with our student body again. Please talk to your child about ways that they can be a responsible citizen and contributing member to our community. We need to take care of each other and show up for each other with respect. Please also discuss different ways that we can continue fostering belonging at Lincoln. We can use this feedback to make our experience as a community better.
Lastly, our first dance is coming up this Friday, November 17th! This one is only for 6th graders. However, right around the corner, on Friday, December 15th, we will have our 7th/8th grade dance! Remember that these dances are invite only on responsible, respectful and safe citizenship behavior.
In Partnership,
Principal Ayala
Belong. Become. Be Proud.
