Parent Teacher Organization
Who belongs to the Lincoln PTO?
You do! We welcome every parent and caregiver to make a difference at Lincoln in whatever way works for you! You can help with an after school club, make muffins for teachers, chaperone a student dance, or contribute your time and talents in many other ways. Join the email list to keep up with the PTO!

Our Purpose: The PTO exists to promote and support the education and well-being of Lincoln Middle School students and community through experiential enrichment, curriculum support, community engagement, and positive culture building. The organization helps build bridges between parents and the school.
7th & 8th grade dance/social
The 7th and 8th grade winter dance/social will take place at Lincoln on Friday, December 15th! If your student is in seventh or eighth grade, be on the lookout for a permission form! Every student attending the dance must turn in a signed permission form before Thursday, December 7th.
Check back soon for links to volunteer to help set up or chaperone or to help out with donations for the dance.
Volunteer in the building!
Are you interested in volunteering regularly at Lincoln? One way is to volunteer to help during lunchtime in the cafeteria, around 11:15am. Or volunteer at recess, between 11:30 and 12:20pm. All grades try to get outside for a short time time every day, so pick "your day" and join us! There are also opportunities to volunteer inside various classrooms. Email our new Community Coordinator, Colby Senior, to learn more!
PLEASE NOTE: Everyone who volunteers at a Portland school must fill out a volunteer application and have it approved by the district. It's a necessary (and quick) process, so please fill it out so you'll be ready to volunteer at Lincoln!
Please fill out a Volunteer form if you have not done so in the last three years. If you're not sure, contact Colby.
