Spelling Bee 2017
Lincoln Middle School conducted school wide spelling bees at the classroom, house, and school levels this past month. All students participated to experience speaking and listening in a formal setting. Those who went on to compete at the house and school levels did so by choice, and studied rigorously for the competition! The following students reached the school level of the competition:

8th graders: Charlotte Bowder, Vivica Dunlap

7th graders: Maddie Morrison, Devon Shaughnessy, and Garet Mckenna.

6th graders: Aidan Wood, Jasper McCaroll-Christmas

After two days of intense competition, Lincoln has two finalists who will represent LMS at the Cumberland County Bee on January 31,
7th graders Maddie Morrison and Garet McKenna. Congratulations to Maddie and Garet, we know you will represent Lincoln well!

The Cumberland County Spelling Bee will be held on Tuesday, January 31, at the Cape Elizabeth Middle School, 14 Scott Dyer Road, Cape Elizabeth, ME. Registration will open at 5:30 pm and the Bee will begin at 6:30 pm. The snow date will be Wednesday, February 1st at the same time.
