Lincoln Middle School participated in the American Heart Association's Hoops for Heart event in February while learning about the healthy components of fitness and culmination of basketball and jump rope skills. Lincoln raised $1976.25 this year. Students also had a chance to learn Hands Only CPR taught by trained students and Heather Dadiego, a former student and employee of UNE. Thank you gifts have arrived and Sophie Galin was the top fundraiser with a total of $250 raised to support this community service effort. Thank you to all students, staff and community members who so generously donated; and all participants for being physically active to take care of their own hearts.
