News & Updates for 5th grade Families and future LMS students:

Incoming 5th grade students will have the opportunity for an in depth visit at Lincoln on
Friday, May 26th for Step Up Day. Please click on the following link to tell us about your child’s learning style and social/emotional considerations: https://goo.gl/forms/Siffemx0ksvCT8E63. If you would rather complete a paper copy, your child’s elementary school has hard copies available, or you can contact Lincoln Middle School.  Please complete the online form or return the paper form to your child’s teacher no later than Friday, May 5th.

  • May 5 – 5th gr. Course Preference Form due to child’s 5th grade teacher

  • May 26 – Step Up day for students at Lincoln Middle School

   Practice for Completion Ceremony, 9:35 AM

   Wednesday, June 21 
   Completion Ceremony, 9:00 - 11:00 AM, Gymnasium
   Students are asked to dress nicely for our ceremony.

   (Please, no blue jeans, shorts, t-shirts, tuxedos or formal gowns.)  

  *Please notify the main office if you will be dismissing your child after the ceremony.

8th Grade Celebration, 6:00 – 7:30 PM Ground Floor
A celebration for 8th grade Lincoln Middle School students sponsored by our PTO.
The celebration will include: Refreshments, games, dancing, socializing.
Parent chaperones are welcome.
This is a casual event.  Please follow the LMS dress code.
Bus transportation will be available.
There is no cost for students to attend this event!

          There will be no school for 8th grade students on Thursday, June 22.

>School's Out 5K is scheduled for Saturday, June 10, 2017. Race begins at 9 am. This is a family friendly, fun 5k to celebrate Lincoln Middle School, the end of the school year, and the Lincoln community!  We will have awards for: overall male/female; LMS male/female staff; 6/7/8 grade overall male/female; rising 6th grade male female; and K-4 grade overall male/female.  Come out and celebrate Lincoln and its wonderful community.

The Lincoln Middle School finalists in the inaugural 2016 STEM Education Innovation Challenge Grant Competition are eighth-grade science teachers Christel Driscoll and Franklin Sames, and engineering technology teacher Thomas Fournier.
