Treasurer Report:  Treasurer, Mary Ellen Randall offered the March PTFO Budget Report.   Calendar sales, the February bake sale and the February dance brought the balance to approximately $2,250.00.  Great job to all involved with our fundraisers to make them such great successes!

Clynk Fundraiser: Kim Crabill reported to have signed up LMS to get ready to kick off this fundraiser.  Drinda made a brochure which was distributed to LMS students.  Kim handed out the Clynk bags w/bar codes and asked each PTFO member present to fill a bag and deliver it to the Hannaford Clynk in Scarborough as we needed to have money in the account to purchase the bags for the students.  The Hannaford on Forest Avenue is scheduled to open its Clynk kiosk on March 20, 2008.   We had further discussion about a single day bottle drive which will be revisited at the next meeting.

Teachers’ Appreciation Month:   Deb Barlock, Chair reported that it had been decided a luncheon would be served on May 8.  In addition, Deb suggested that a bowl of treats (such as kisses) with appreciation phrases be positioned in a visible location during Appreciation Week.  Members of this committee will meet in March to discuss further details and report at the next PTFO meeting.

Cafeteria Project:  The cafeteria project is coming along nicely.  LMS parent volunteers and students enjoyed an exciting evening participating in painting and mural designs.   GREAT JOB!!!!
