Review:
Do ever wonder what it would be like to live with a family that has a juvenile delinquent as your brother and your other brother is the most popular kid in school?  The only reason you don’t get picked on as bad in school as the other kids is  because you’re the younger brother of the most popular kid, so it has its advantages and disadvantages.
Well, that's what Kenny Goose through in The Watsons Go To Birmingham by Christopher Paul Curtis.
Kenny was the younger brother of Byron. Kenny always got picked on by his brother and his friends.   He just did not get picked on as bad in school as the other kids because his brother was the most popular boy in school .  Because he and his friends were so much older, (they had stayed back a couple of times) Kenny asks for God or someone to send him a miracle.
Basically the story The Watsons Go to Birmingham is a comedy. There is some curiosity that keeps you wanting to read the book.  As Kenny had asked for a miracle, two new boys started going to his school and he knew they were different because most of the time the new kids got picked on, but not these two. So Kenny thought that God answered him. You will just have to find out who the two boys really are.
If you like a book about funny things that keep you going, this is a book for you because in this story there is just a little touch of everything that just might keep you interested.
