Summary:
Julie would remember her happy days at Aunt Cordelias’s, singing on the rainy nights in front of the blazing fireplace.  There were the rides to the woods on Peter the Great and the races with Danny Trevort. There werethe precious moments alone in her room at night gazing at the sea of stars. But there were sad times too- the painful jealousy Julie felt when her sister married, the tragic death of a schoolmate and the bitter disappointment of her first love.
Julie was having a hard time believing life was fair.  But Julie would have to be fair to herself before she could even think about new beginnings.

Review:
If you like a good book to read and if you like a good classical drama then Up a Road Slowly by Irene Hunt is a great book for you.  Up a Road Slowly is a look at Julie’s life from her point of view. In this book you don’t hear from just one character, you also get to see what life is like through  her family’s eyes also.  I really enjoyed this book and if you asked me what book you should read next I would recommend  Up a Road Slowly by Irene Hunt.
