Attention 8th grade parents
: "Please share throwback pictures of your student with the yearbook advisor.  We want to showcase 8th graders from when they were younger (think elementary school).  You may even have group shots, which is also fine too!"

Parent/Staff Basketball Game:
Don't forget the Parent vs Staff basketball game is Thursday, March 29th, at 6pm in the Lincoln Middle School gym! Don't miss out on this great game, refreshments, raffles and a 3 point shooting contest.  The cost is $1 for students, $2 for adults and $5 per family. The PTO is looking
for parents to play on the team or help out at the event. Parents should notify Ann Marie Bouchard at if you are interested in playing or helping with concessions.

Box tops for Education
- The PTO is running a Box Top fundraiser competition.  The house with the most box tops collected during the competition will win a popsicle party!  Students are asked to bring in their box tops and put them in the collection container in their Lions" Pride room.  The competition runs through 5/15.  Counts will be updated and posted each month to promote some healthy competition and school spirit!

LMS has a partnership with the Locker Project which gives us free food to help families
--we have soup,spaghetti,macaroni and cheese,rice, and cereal. Please see Ms.Randall in student services if you would like to bring some food home to your family---we all need some extra help sometimes.

Sports today:

Boys and girls Indoor track
  have a meet tomorrow, Saturday, March 17th at the Portland Exposition Building.  Start time is 3pm.

Swim Team will practice
after school today at the Riverton pool from 3-4:30pm.  Swimmers please meet in the cafeteria after school today.

Please remember
, the SNOW is to STAY ON THE GROUND!! Do not pick it up for any reason, there is to be no throwing of snow on school grounds ever. 

Students are reminded
, as the weather gets colder, please sign in at the main office to  see a teacher prior to the start of the school day.  Otherwise, ALL students should be in either the cafeteria OR the gazebo area until the bell rings.  No students should be in classrooms without permission from a teacher.

5210 Wellness Team
is offering students an opportunity for physical activity before school in the Gym between now and April Vacation on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 7:20 -7:40am. 

A late bus will be available for students who are eligible for transportation every afternoon but Wednesday.
The late bus will arrive at 3:30pm. Any student planning to take the late bus must get a pass from the staff member they are staying after with.  After 3:15 when many activities will end, students waiting for the late bus must report to the music room to wait in a supervised location.  Students may NOT wait outside or leave school grounds prior  to taking the bus and no students will be allowed to board the bus without a pass.

Technology Club
will meet on Mondays, at 2:20 in Room G8. Everyone is invited! 

Comic Book Club
meets on Mondays after school in room G4, Mrs. Hager's room on the ground floor.  See you there.

Student Activism Club
meets on Tuesdays, after school in the Art Room .  All are welcome. Cup stacking club meets on Tuesdays. You’ll be learning how to cup stack, stack in different ways, meet new
friends and have some fun. The club will meet in Mr. Hardy’s room #105 from 2:15 - 3:30. No experience necessary!

Game Club
meets on Tuesdays in room 301!  All grade levels welcome. 

The Civil Rights Team
meets on Tuesdays  in the Learning Commons. New members are always welcome!

Dungeons and Dragons Club
(D&D) meets on Tuesdays after school in room 205 until 3:35pm..

will not meet during the month of March.

6th grade math team
will not meet on Monday afternoons during March and but will still meet on Wednesday mornings at 7:15am in Ms. Amatos's room 111.

Lincoln's MakerSpace
meets on Thursdays after school 2:30-3:30 in the MakerSpace room located on the ground floor next to Engineering Technology.

Cooking Club
will meet on Thursdays.  The next session starts in April.

Anyone at LMS who is an ally or member of the LGBTQ+ community is welcome to come to SAGA! 
Lincoln's Sexuality and Gender Acceptance Club meets on Thursdays after school in Ms. Briley's room, 304, from 2:20-3:15. This student-led club's focus is to build an accepting school community. We are also currently planning the script for a short film.

The 5210 student wellness committee
meets every Thursday in Room 105 at 2:20pm. If you like promoting healthy eating and physical activity to your peers this is the club for you.  Come and make your voice and ideas heard. 

LMS Mindfullness group
will meet every Thursday from 2:30 - 3:30 in the Learning Commons and will involve gentle yoga and guided seated meditation. All students and staff are welcome.

7th and 8th grade math teams
will meet on Fridays from 7:15-7:40 am. Please see Mrs. Guillerault in 204 if you are interested!
