Daily Bulletin for Lincoln Middle School                          
Friday, May 26, 2017 Blue Day


  • A late bus will be available for students who are eligible for transportation every afternoon but Wednesday The late bus will arrive at 3:40.  Any student planning to take the late bus must get a pass from the staff member they are staying after with.  After 3:15 when many activities will end, students waiting for the late bus must report to the music room to wait in a supervised location.  Students may NOT wait outside or leave school grounds prior to taking the bus and no students will be allowed to board the bus without a pass.
  • Today is  Full  Band.
  • Today, LMS will have Step Up Day.  8th Grade Students, only, will have an early dismissal at 11:00 am.
  • No Baseball, Softball or track today. 
  • Track meet is canceled for today.
  • No Civil Rights Team meeting today.
  • Math Counts will meet in rm G2.
  • No Activism Club today.
  • 6th grade math team meets in rm 111 after school.
  • Attention, poets, story tellers, stand-up comedians and anyone who has something to say: the Learning Commons is hosting an Open Mic Night on Wednesday, June 14th. Students wishing to participate should sign up with Ms. Rooks by Friday, June 2nd.
  • No School, Monday May 29-Memorial Day   
  • LMS Drama presents "The Brothers Grimm"  on Thursday, June 1, at 6pm. in the LMS gym.
  • Athletic Open House, June 1st. at 6pm  at PHS and DHS for incoming student-athletes who will

participate as a Bulldog or a Ram in 2017-2018.  Meet athletic staff,  get sport information and summer schedules.  This meeting is mandatory for all families and athletes who will be participating in a sport next

year.

  • Attention Readers: The Learning Commons is hosting a book swap! Between now and June 1st, students can bring in up to 10 books to swap and get swap dollars to use starting June 6th. Get some "new to you" books for summer reading!  The Learning Commons is also collecting donations of popular series books 

during this time. See Ms. Rooks for details!

  • PTO Calendar Raffle- 10 day countdown for the Lincoln Middle School 5K- we are now selling

raffles for our calendar raffle which will take place between June 1-10. There are lots of great prizes, including gift certificates to local stores and restaurants, a gas grill, and a week of Aucocisco Day Camp 
this summer with Rippleffect!  One entry is $5 or three for $10. Details and entry forms are on our webpage, and additional copies are available in the Main Office.
